SHALOM WORSHIP CENTRE is an independent, self supporting church ministry founded by pastor Prasad Cherukuri on July 1st 2004. Initially it all began in a rented house in Kakinada with just a few family members. Over the years, the LORD added more souls to the church and in 2011 we were blessed with our own church building. God has been faithful to His church and to His servant. Sorrowful tears of many have turned to tears of joy by souls rejoicing in salvation and promises fulfilled to the praise of His glorious name.

Pastor Cherukuri Prasad was born into a Hindu family. He accepted JESUS as his Lord and personal Savior while graduating in Mechanical Engineering. After completing higher education in Business Management he worked for a couple of years in a secular organization. During those days he involved himself in evangelism along with the Church youth. Later, as the Lord called him to full time ministry he moved to Kakinada and founded SHALOM WORSHIP CENTRE in 2004.
